If possible, use keywords in your domain name. Search engines such as Google and Yahoo use URL keywords to rate relevance. Avoid words that are easily misspelled. Try to make it easy to remember. You can use hyphens between words to aid in readability and search engine rankings. Spaces are not allowed.
 
Some browsers have trouble accessing sites that have domain names with more than 59 characters. Maximum length is 67 characters which is 64 plus the extension.
 
Listings are frequently alphabetized by company name in web directories such as Yahoo and LookSmart. If you are choosing a new company name, try to choose a name starting with a character early in the ordering sequence.
